Trojan quarterback Davis Crumrine was named the Offensive Player of the Week by GM Sports Media after his impressive week zero performance against Grapevine Faith. The Junior quarterback's versatility was on full display in the opening game of the season. Crumrine completed 20 of 28 pass attempts, compiling 316 passing yards on the night. He also passed for four touchdowns, including one on the game winning drive with under four minutes remaining. Crumrine also used his scrambling ability and scored the Trojans' first touchdown of the night. He is coming off a 2025 season that saw him throw for 11 touchdowns and over 1,200 yards. This is Davis' first Offensive Player of the Week award in his career.
