Last week, boys basketball edged out Nolan Catholic 43-37 on the road in Fort Worth. The win moves TCA to a perfect 4-0 in true road games this year behind a combined 30 points from Christian Cox and JJ Price.
The Trojan defense kept the Vikings in clamps throughout the contest. NCHS mustered just 28% shooting from the field and 26% from the perimeter. Efficiency at the foul line also helped swing things in favor of the Trojans. TCA shot 11-15 on free throws while Nolan Catholic mustered just 60% on trips to the line.
