THE RUNDOWN
Varsity volleyball wrapped up the non-district portion of the 2025 campaign with a 3-0 sweep of ESD on Thursday night in Dallas. With the win, the Trojans improve to .500 (9-9-2) on the year ā the program's best record through 20 games since 2013.
The Trojans need just one more win to secure their first 10-win season since 2016. The sweep of the Eagles is TCA's third in the last two years, the most over a common opponent in that time frame. In fact, the Trojans' recent string of success against the Eagles actually dates back to the 2022 season ā with TCA winning each of the last five matchups.
COACH TERRY ON THE PROGRAM'S STATUS ENTERING DISTRICT PLAY
"I'm incredibly proud of the work our team has been putting in all season. The girls have battled some tough teams and have displayed tremendous dedication both on and off the court. They have displayed heart, hustle and teamwork, and we are aggressively eying our goal of finishing at the top of our district.
"Come support our Trojans in our district home opener on Tuesday, October 7. With your help, I'm confident we can make this district schedule one to remember!"
