THE RUNDOWN
Trojan Football trounced the Mustangs of Life Waxahachie by a score of 58-14 last Friday at Mustangs Stadium. The story of the evening was another second-quarter outburst from the Trojan offense, as Ben Brewer, Campbell Laible and Will Loukas all found the end zone in the second period.
Laible finished the day with a game-high three rushing touchdowns on just seven carries. The senior rusher was complemented in the passing game by receivers Chase Griffin (game-high 97 receiving yards and a touchdown) and Ben Brewer (76 receiving yards, 2 touchdowns).
Quarterback Hunter Flatt put together one of his most efficient outings to date. The senior signal caller went 13-for-18 for 179 passing yards and 4 touchdowns in just three quarters of action.
On the other side of the ball, Jude Tredennick recorded a pick and senior edge rusher Hudson Ingram tallied three tackles-for-loss for a Trojan defense that surrendered just one offensive score on the day.
