THE RUNDOWN
Trojan Volleyball celebrated the first day of school with a 3-0 victory over the HSAA Angels. The sweep – TCA's first of the season – also marks the first career win for
Erin Terry as head coach of the program.
TCA (1-1) opened the night with grit, outlasting the Angles 27-25 in a back-and-forth opening set. The Trojans' composure continued to grow as big as their lead as they went on to win the ensuing sets 25-12 and 25-10.
The win arrives after a hard-fought 3-2 loss to Greenhill on Tuesday. TCA now sets its sights on the first road test of the young season against Prestonwood North on Tuesday.
