TCA Athletics is pleased to report that six Trojans have earned TAPPS 6A District 1 postseason honors, as announced by the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools. The honor arrives on the heels of TCA's fourth consecutive winning season under program head coach John Price. The Trojans posted a 19-15 record during the 2024-25 campaign to finish the year four games or more over .500 for the fourth season in a row dating back to 2021-22.
Trojan guards Reece Walker and JJ Price headlined the TCA lineup with a pair of First Team All-District selections. Walker averaged a team-high 17.0 points and 4.0 assists during district play, and Price chipped in 13.0 points per game during league play. Senior Brennan McNaught averaged a hair under double digits (9.0 ppg) in district play while also averaging 6.0 rebounds per contest. The forward/guard combo earned a Second Team All-District nod alongside Trojan teammates Amassia Dayian and Sloan Nelson. Senior forward Gaje Allen rounded out the roster with an Honorable Mention.
The senior trio of Walker, McNaught and Nelson also garnered Academic All-State honors.
