Trojan Volleyball is excited to celebrate upperclassmen
Olivia Whorton and
Nora Newman, who garnered TAPPS All-State honors following the conclusion of the state championship last month.
Whorton, a junior, was also named the District MVP and a First Team All-District selection following an incredible season for the Trojans. Whorton led the team with 93 kills during district play and finished top-5 in all of TAPPS 6A with 358 kills on the year.
Newman, a senior and four-year varsity member, was also named to the TAPPS All-District roster. The reigning District Offensive Player of the Year amassed 242 kills for the season and a team-best hit percentage of 0.294 during league action.
