A 2025 Trojan Volleyball squad that has already displayed remarkable growth took another step last week. TCA (13-12-2) secured the No. 2 seed in the district standings by winning a tiebreaking set over Liberty Christian on October 28.
The Trojans now lock up the two-spot in TAPPS 6A Division I with a league record of 3-3, the program's best mark since the 2015 season.
On October 21, the Trojans swept Parish in a must-win game to keep pace with Liberty in the conference standings before taking a decisive tiebreaking set against the Warriors on October 23, ultimately closing out the regular season with a 3-0 sweep of Prestonwood North on senior night.
The Trojans now set their sights on a playoff tuneup game at McKinney Christian on Thursday, October 30, before coming home to host Bishop Lynch in the opening round of the TAPPS playoffs.
