THE RUNDOWN
The Trojan Basketball win streak grew to four consecutive games last week following a decisive 74-41 win over Dallas Christian. The Trojan defense held the visiting Chargers to just 15 points in the first half, as another stellar outing from the upperclassmen secured the victory.
With another big night against the Chargers, JJ Price (26 points) now has 107 points through four games, the most on record to start a season since TCA started tracking game-by-game statistics. Fellow captain, Christian Cox, poured in 17 points of his own to go with five steals and eight assists in an incredibly balanced game on both ends of the floor. Drake Smith also scored 17 points as a force in the front court. Smith was a perfect 7-7 from the foul line while leading the team with 12 rebounds.
But history was made up and down the Trojan bench on Thursday night, with Grayson Morris (2 points), Andrew Antush (7 points) and Mason Wagers (2 points) all scoring their first points in a varsity uniform
