THE RUNDOWN
Legacy Christian defeated TCA by a score of 52-22 Friday night in Addison. A massive day from LCA senior halfback Jaxson Ladd (128 yards rushing, 4 touchdowns) provided the Eagles with the lead they needed to control the pace of the game.

Both teams traded blows on their first possessions of the game. A three-yard touchdown run from Ladd was quickly countered by the Trojans when Hunter Flatt (133 yards passing, 2 touchdowns) found Chase Griffin for a 77-yard touchdown pass that tied things up at 7-7. But back-to-back touchdown runs from Ladd on ensuing drives put TCA on the wrong side of the scoreboard entering the third quarter.

Griffin finished the day with 96 receiving yards and two touchdown grabs on just three receptions. He was joining in the score column by freshman phenom Davis Wenning. The first-year utility man hauled in a pass from quarterback Davis Crumrine for the Trojans' third and final score of the contest.

THREE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
5 – Griffin recorded the fifth multi-score game of his varsity career. The senior hideout leads the team with 16 touchdown grabs over the last two years.
1 – Wenning scored the first touchdown of his high school career.
4 – The Trojan offense is still averaging close to 30 (28.5) points per contest this season. TCA has scored more than 20 points in four of the first six games.
