THE RUNDOWN
On Thursday, Trojan Football dropped a 47-9 varsity contest versus the Bishop Lynch Friars at Tom Landry Stadium. The loss concludes a three-game home stand for the Trojans, who now travel to Prestonwood and Nolan Catholic to close out district play.
Davis Crumrine got the start under center, passing for a team-high 129 yards before Robby Friedrich checked in at quarterback. Friedrich, a junior and first-year Trojan, tossed the first touchdown of his TCA career to senior Campbell Laible. Laible had a career day as the focal point of the Trojan passing attack. The halfback hauled in a game-high seven receptions for 128 yards and the score.
Junior defensive back Grayson May nabbed an interception to highlight the defense.
