TCA is excited to announce the hiring of our new Director of Athletic Performance, Nic Giblin.
 
Coach Giblin brings over 15 years of experience working with professional, collegiate and high school athletes. He is passionate about developing the complete student-athlete by creating a culture rooted in Christ-centered leadership. 
 
Coach Giblin is committed to being a servant leader — investing in relationships, mentoring with purpose and equipping athletes to pursue excellence both on and off the field while continually raising their athletic ceiling. 
 
Most recently, he served for six years as the athletic performance coordinator at Calvary Christian High School. There, he led the football and volleyball programs year-round while designing and implementing in-season and offseason training for softball, baseball, lacrosse, boys and girls basketball, and track and field. Under his leadership, the athletic performance program was named a National High School Strength and Conditioning Association (NHSSCA) Program of Excellence in 2023. In 2025, he was honored as the NHSSCA Florida Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Year. 
 
"Nic is considered to be one of the young, bright minds in the world of interscholastic athletic performance," says TCA Executive Director of Athletics Beck Brydon. "He understands that a better athlete makes for a better sport-specific performer. He has been successful at developing both male and female athletes across multiple sports and demands a lot of his student-athletes. Equally important, Nic has a demonstrated desire to develop the whole person, which fits TCA's mission well." 
 
Coach Giblin has been married to his wife, Catie, for 15 years. Together, they have three children: Nicco, Camille and Cai. Nic hopes to be on campus at the end of May or in early June to begin working with our students.
