TEEING OFF
The Trojan Golf team enters play for the final time this season at the 2025 TAPPS 6A Golf Championships in Glen Rose, Texas. The 36-hole tournament hosted by Squaw Valley Golf Course will be the sight upon which the defending state champion TCA Trojans seek their ninth consecutive state title.

Last time out, TCA won the TAPPS District/Regional tournament with a team score of 551. Senior Nate Miller took home the individual title (64-63) by firing off an incredible 15-under par,127 for a 10-stroke victory over the runner-up. Additionally, fellow seniors Sean Meador (68-70) placed third overall, recording an impressive 4-under par, 138 scorecard that fell just one shot shy of second place, and Carson Harris (1-under, 141) rounded out the senior trio with a fourth-place finish.

Miller, Meador and Harris have been integral parts of TCA's five-man lineup for the entirety of their high school careers. The senior trio will now hit the course together for the final time as teammates in pursuit of the program's 22nd state championship.

TROJAN STORYLINES
– The Trojans are no strangers to the links at Squaw Valley. TCA competed on this course back in October and secured the tournament title over UIL 6A Mansfield High School.

– TCA's lineup is one of the deepest in the country. Of the five golfers suiting up for the Trojans this week, three have won a tournament this year, and four have at least registered a top-10 finish.

– A win at Squaw Valley would mark the 12th state championship for Coach Marshall Edwards.
