Trinity Christian Academy is excited to announce Matthew Graham as the next head coach of the Trojan Golf program. Graham, a three-time state championship-winning coach, arrives at TCA after four years at The Covenant School in Dallas.
During his time with the Covenant Knights, Coach Graham oversaw the entire golf program from middle school to the varsity level. Girls golf teams under Graham's leadership earned two district championships, two state tournament appearances, and three state medalists from 2021-2024.
"Trojan Golf has long been one of the top programs in the country. The success and impact Coach Edwards has had are unmatched and will remain the gold standard for how a golf program should be run," says Graham. "I'm grateful to Dr. Williams, Steve Hayes, and Coach Edwards for entrusting me with the opportunity to lead this team into the future. Go Trojans!"
On the boys side, the Covenant Knights have won TAPPS titles every year since 2023, earning invitations to the PGA High School Golf National Tournament. The boys also won three district championships and three regional championships in Graham's four years at the helm. Individually, Knight golfers medaled seven times at the state championships from 2022-2024.
"I'm thrilled to welcome Matthew Graham as the new head coach of Trojan Golf," says former coach and 12-time state champion Marshall Edwards. "I've had the pleasure of getting to know Coach Graham over the past few years, and I love the passion he has for high school golf. He's led Dallas Covenant to several state championships in recent years. I'm excited for the new era of Trojan Golf under his leadership."
Coach Graham and his wife, Nena, have been married for nearly 20 years. They are the proud parents of two boys, James (9) and Reed (6).
