TCA dove into action at the TAPPS North Regional Championships last week in Mansfield, Texas, turning in a strong performance on the boys side. The Trojans earned a trip to the state meet in the boys 400 freestyle relay, as the quartet of Drew Fletcher, Hayden Dunn, Jon Ross and Reid Johannsen punched their ticket to San Antonio.

Johannsen also qualified for state in a pair of individual events. The junior placed second in the boys 50 yard freestyle with a time of 23.01 and followed it up with a third-place finish in the boys 100 yard breaststroke (1:08.90).

The TAPPS Swim Championships are set for Wednesday, February 11, at the Josh Davis Natatorium in San Antonio, Texas. Tickets, facility information and streaming details are available on the TAPPS website.
