THE RUNDOWN:
On Wednesday, the varsity track & field team competed in the TAPPS 6A North Regional Championship at UT Arlington. The Trojans delivered exceptional performances across the board, with the boys and girls teams placing fourth in the region standings. In total, the Trojans garnered 11 podium spots, with seniors Ella Eubanks and Ryan Elms each earning an individual title.
Eubanks led the Lady Trojans with a remarkable first-place finish in the discus. The senior shattered her own school record with a throw of 115'2" that surpassed her previous mark of 108'01". Elms highlighted the boys side by taking first place in the 400-meter dash. The fourth-year Trojan comfortably won the event en route to a final time of 49.71.
