Trinity Christian Academy

Coach Sam Blackmon comes to TCA with over 28 years of experience as an athletic director and coach for baseball, basketball and football programs. Coach Blackmon has coached baseball at the high school and collegiate level, winning nine district baseball championships and earning six regional appearances and three state tournament berths. 

While coaching The University of Dallas baseball team, Coach Blackmon had the all-time winning percentage in the school's history. He was an All-Conference and Academic All-Conference selection while at Howard Payne University where he graduated with a bachelor's in history with a minor in English. 

He and his wife Marla are relocating to the Dallas area. They have two grown daughters and have been blessed with two grandsons and a granddaughter.
