Hayward Lee earned his undergraduate degree from Washington and Lee and an M.B.A. from Rice. Before joining TCA, Lee had a career in coaching spanning 30 years, serving at St. Mark's School of Texas for 18 years as head football coach, head lacrosse coach and strength and conditioning coach. He then served at The Episcopal School of Dallas in those same capacities.
Lee's decorated resume continues. The Texas High School Lacrosse League (THSLL) has awarded him a Lifetime Achievement award, and the THSLL named an award after him for excellence in coaching and sportsmanship. As an athlete, Lee played professional soccer for the Houston Dynamos of the MLS and the Nashville Metros of the Premier Development League. He and his wife, Amanda, attend Prestonwood Baptist Church and are parents to twin daughters, Brooke and Cullen.
