A TCA alumnus and former state champion, Andrew brings years of competitive wrestling experience to the Trojan Wrestling program. Coach McBride is deeply familiar with the opportunities and needs of the wrestling program, assuming the leadership role after six years on staff as an assistant coach.
A former NCAA Division II wrestler at Ouachita Baptist University, Coach McBride holds copper and bronze certifications through USA Wrestling and has coached numerous state placers and champions at the TAPPS and National Prep tournaments. With a graduate degree in Kinesiology from the University of North Texas and an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology with a Physical Education Emphasis, Andrew is positioned to help Trojan wrestlers develop through all stages of their careers.
