Coach Susan Cannon has been the head coach of the TCA Girls Golf Team for the past seven years, guiding the team to state championship appearances every single year.
Before transitioning to coaching, Coach Cannon had a successful career as a business analyst in the banking industry, where she honed her strategic thinking and leadership skills, which she now brings to her coaching.
Outside of coaching, Coach Cannon enjoys playing at Gleneagles Country Club, where she continues to sharpen her golf game and enjoy the sport she loves. Her passion for competition extends beyond golf—she also enjoys playing tennis in her spare time, staying active and engaged in multiple sports.
Coach Cannon and her husband, Rick, live in Plano. They are proud parents of a grown daughter who is a sixth-grade math teacher in the Plano Independent School District. Coach Cannon’s commitment to her family and community is reflected in the way she supports and mentors her athletes both on and off the course.
