Bailey Henson has a combined ten years of experience as a player, coach and NCAA tennis athlete and is dedicated to establishing a strong culture for the long-term success of the Trojan Tennis program. During her high school playing career at Alvarado High School, Bailey earned two state tournament bids in doubles and mixed doubles and two regional finalist appearances in singles play. At the college level, Bailey was twice named team captain of the LeTourneau tennis team, where she garnered four All-Academic selections through the International Tennis Association (ITA) and two Southwest Conference All-Academic awards.
Bailey is a newlywed. Her husband, Jimmy, is also a former college tennis player at LeTourneau. Bailey's older brother was a tennis player at East Texas Baptist University, and her older sister was her tennis coachthroughout her high school career. Mrs. Henson comes from a deep background of talented, passionate athletes who love teaching and competing in tennis.
In addition to her playing career, Bailey is an experienced tennis coach at the Southern Oak Country Club in Burleson, where she has coached for the last eight years. She currently attends The Door Church in Lewisville.
