John Price will begin his sixth year at TCA in 2026-27 and 28th year as a basketball coach at both the high school and college levels. In 25 years as a high school head coach, Price's teams boast a record of 554-226. Coach Price has advanced to the Final Four thirteen times and has won three of six state championship appearances.

In 2015, USA TODAY High School Sports recognized his program (Faith Academy, Alabama) as the "Best Boys Program in America" with 218 wins, six Final Four appearances and two state runner-ups in nine seasons. Coach Price has also had 23 players sign scholarships at the NCAA Division I, II, III, juco and NAIA levels.

In five complete seasons at TCA, Coach Price's teams have won 114 games, with one Final Four and two Elite Eight playoff appearances. Coach Price’s TCA teams have also produced six collegiate signees at all five levels of college basketball: Blake Muschalek (Auburn University), JJ Price (Dallas Baptist), Christian Cox (Adams State), Gur Dillon (Brandeis University), Gaje Allen (Texas College) and Reece Walker (Southwest Christian).
