Colby Cameron

Before joining the TCA Family, Coach Colby Cameron spent two seasons with Brentwood Academy in Tennessee. During his time with Brentwood, he developed the top-ranked passer in the state and the second-ranked quarterback in the country. 

Coach Cameron's offensive expertise extends beyond the high school level. He served as a senior offensive analyst for the Southern Methodist University (SMU) football program from 2018-2020, specializing in quarterbacks and tight ends. During Coach Cameron's time with SMU, the Mustangs offense broke single-season records in passing yards and total season touchdowns. 

A former professional football player in Fujitsu, Japan, Coach Cameron earned Rookie of the Year honors in 2014 and bowl game MVP titles in 2016 and 2017. Before going pro, Coach Cameron played quarterback at Louisiana Tech from 2008-12, where he helped guide the Bulldogs to a bowl game in 2011 and a Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Championship.

During his senior season in the 2012 campaign, Coach Cameron led the Mustangs to their first national ranking in 15 years. He then graduated with a finance degree and spent time with the Carolina Panthers in the Spring of 2013 before taking his professional career overseas. 

Coach Cameron is married to his wife, Kelsey. They have two children, Anderson Jack and Emmerson Dane.
